Shame about the title!!!

I loved this programme - absolutely fantastic stories, people, everything.
Truth is, after all, stranger than fiction.

I was annoyed to discover it only halfway through episode 2. The title completely turned me off. Things like fictional police and hospital dramas bore me rigid and I avoid them at all costs.

I assumed that it was just another badly acted and strangely written off-shoot of Casualty / Holby with an old-sounding title. A friend put me right and encouraged me to watch it, insisting that it was nothing like such stuff.

A real shame indeed! Can't wait for the DVD though. Well done, BBC.

it just goes to show that age old saying 'never judge a book by its cover!'
I felt exactly the same till i watched it!

It's called "London Hospital" in Australia, which is why I've had such a hard time finding it here! Casualty 1907 just sounds...weird...but it's a great show! I love it!
