So Does Matron fancy the posh bloke who was helping her to organise the queen's visit or is she just sexually frustrated?

Probably a bit of both. But did he not suggest that they had a bit of 'history' anyway?

I think there is history there from what she said to him in eppy two about not raking over the coals or something..ahes also frustrated as a woman having dedicated her life to nursing!
There is a nurses home at The Royal London (The London) named after that matron !
I'm a nurse, I trained there!...but thankfully..or maybe not considering the dramas we got involved in! LOL we WERE allowed relationships by 1990!

Relationships by 1990! Are you serious or was that a typo!? One the show I believe it said it took 40+ more years to allow married nurses. As crazy as it sounds to us now it does make sense for how they were required to live there and work never ending hours. Bless them all for giving up so much to help others have longer, healthier lives.
