Was anyone bothered by the huge age difference between Johnny Depp and Bella Heathcote? He was old enough to be her father. At first I found it funny, but I have to say, Johnny Depp didn't look old in this.

Not bothered by the age difference. Would have been right in line with a typical romance of a male from a rich family in the 18th centery. What bothered me was why he was so hung up on Bella Heathcote when she was so incredibly boring. He's got Eva Green and Helena Bonham Carter on tap. Why pine over Josette?
