Did they had to show the climax of the movie in the beginning itself? It kinda ruined the movie for me in the end.
But overall a great movie. One of the best of 2007.

Because it is a homage to the novels of James Hadley Chase where the hero always fell in love with a bimbo or the wrong woman, was either duped or decided to do something bad, and things spiraled downward. These stories were never mysteries - the outcome was certain - it was always bad!

A Hadley Chase adaptation that I love is Body Heat with Kathleen Turner and William Hurt (ripped off totally in Jism).

Its called Direction. Did you guess who it was when you saw a guy being shot at?? I know I didn't.

The whole movie kind of builds up to that final moment.

Plus they didn't show any faces in the beginning - so why was it ruined for you?
