He's an arrogant ass. This movie sucks its like every other movie that tries to be like whichever movie did it first... I can't even remember which movie did it first because there are so many. Canada has released some good films over the years... this 2 part miniseries was garbage the minute it showed a black man fresh out of jail eating fried chicken in his buddy's car.

How so? Are you saying that black people aren't allowed to eat fried chicken? Are you saying that people shouldn't eat fried chicken in cars? Should the chicken have been baked instead of fried? Should he have been rubbing it all over his body instead of eating it?
Sounds to me as if you're reading far too much in to it.
