Finally watched it. As a long-time Jonah Hex fan, I was reluctant.

I have been a fan of Jonah Hex since I read the original comics in the mid-70s as a gradeschooler. When the movie was announced, I was eager to see it until I saw the trailer. It looked as bad as everyone was saying.

Well, I finally DVRed it and watched it and yes, it really, really stunk. Starting with the twin gatling guns mounted in his horse, it just wallowed in excess and tried way too hard for a dark, gritty feel. It was laughable. Too bad... If they had played it a little more serious, it could have been great.
