The movie is very underwhelming (and damn short), but I liked Brolin's performance (even though I couldn't understand his mumbling at times). I wouldn't mind seeing him in the role again if a reboot or a sequel ever gets made.
yes, the movie disappointing. josh brolin is one of my favorite actors. he was good, but the script and direction were sub par. he did as well as he could do with what he had to work with.
The only role I've ever liked Josh Brolin in was as 'Dan White' in "Milk"... but the frustrating thing is that, on paper, he does pick such good projects... so I like him for that reason, but there's something about him as a performer that I just can't warm to.
Born when she kissed me, died when she left me, lived whilst she loved me
Brolin's performance in W was even better than his in Milk. Brolin's job in MIB3 was nearly flawless, because he was almost an exact clone of Tommy Lee Jones at a younger age. And don't even mention his performance in No Country, which tends to get overlooked in favor of Bardem
I agree with you on W for sure, but I strongly suggest you see MIB3. Not only is Brolin outstanding in it, but the movie as a whole is a large improvement over the second and about on par with the original. I doubt you'd regret seeing it
Josh Brolin did the best he could with a sub-par script and a horrible co-star in Megan Fox. I thought his Hex was excellent, and I think that this movie in a lot of ways is really underrated. It wasn't his best role, but I think Brolin takes a lot of flak that is undeserved for this role.
I want you to remember my hand at your throat... the one man who beat you.
