Asylum???

Please don't tell me Asylum is releasing this. They release the worse pictures EVER!!! The trailer looked cool...but if they're releasing it....i'm worried about the quality.

Anyone know?

Death to videodrome! Long live the new flesh!!!

The trailer and poster do look cool. And I too share some concerns as to what the finished product might look like. My biggest complaint as of recent has been the sub-par sound, and I use the word sub-par gently.

"Universal Soldiers," "The Apocalypse," and parts of "Invasion of the Pod People sounded like it came straight from a camcorder mic, yet in the "making of" footage, I am sure I saw a sound man on set during filming.

Asylum has been silent as to the cause of the sound problems. But I have a theory; that the mic man didn't pick up the sound correctly, and they amped it in post. Sometimes, depending on the mic, when you amp in post, you pick up a whole bunch of ambient - which would explain, in part, the "camcorder sound" I've been hearing. 99 times out of 100, you can't knock out the ambient, so maybe they stuck with what they got and decided not to ADR it.

Then again, the sound problem could just be the result of angry goblins. Who knows.

I agree 100% about the sounds in Asylum movies, they're just horrible.

Their visual photography (or videography) is quite nice for low budget productions, but man, they need to do something about the sound, even the trailers sound crappy.
Especially dialogue and every effect sound, the gun shot sounds hurt my ears.
