You don't have to get drunk, to enjoy this movie! It's good.

First off, ASS-ylum tends to be a cringe worthy crap fest...they are parasites, feasting off of the latest trends and movies. At least FULL MOON entertainment came up with some really cool and original concepts. Many of their movies ended up being cult classics, can't say the same for Asylum.

But back to the movie at hand, a friend of mine got a hold of this movie from somewhere, and we watched it Sat night. We brought a few packs of beer along with some pop corn and pizza, thinking this would be a laugh out loud cheesy Asylum *beep* storm (like most all their movies are). We usually play drinking games with their movies! But to our surprise...the movie was actually good...and FUN. Seriously, we didn't have to get drunk, to actually enjoy this movie!

Believe it or not, this movie kinda reminded me of something that Bruce Campbell would be in...it had that "vibe" only Mark Dacascos can kick ass without a chain saw and boomstick, though he does pack a boom stick in a few scenes. There are alot of crazy and fun kills in this movie. I like Mark, and usually if he kicks butt in a movie, it is watchable...and with this movie, I'd say it is one of the best movies I've seen from Assylum. How do I know this, because I'm typing this while I'm actually sober! It is worth a look...and yes, worth $5 to rent. I would never buy this though...unless maybe it hit that 2 for $10 bargin bin at Wal-Mart.

Bottom line, if you think Bruce Campbell movies are good, then you'll enjoy this.
