Been onto itv.com and played Renaissance parts 1, 2, and 3 - which I found are all the same, and in total about only 9 minutes long including the many repeated adverts (not to mention the endless buffering). Did everyone else find the same?
I loved Moving Wallpaper and really was expecting a lot more :(
Yup, all I got were three three-minute parts. Pathetic - they might as well not have bothered. Was really looking forward to Renaissance. When I first heard about it I thought it would be another 12-part series accompanying another 12-part series of Moving Wallpaper. Then we get this - 6 episodes of Moving Wallpaper and 9 minutes of Renaissance. Wonder whether this has anything to do with the current economic situation, or whether it was always intended to be a drastically cut-down series. Shame that ITV barely advertised it as well; I only found out it was back on the box by chance. I did enjoy series 2 overall, though.
Totally agree. MW was brilliant, highlight of the week, unmissable. Was expecting an hour long Renaissance show at least, something in the vein of Channel 4's Dead Set. Ah well, here's hoping we'll get MW back next year again.

shareYup, just a real shame and wasted opportunity, as I thought there were some moments of promise in those measly 9 minutes. I hope we'll get a DVD of series 2 and I also hope we'll get a series 3 of Moving Wallpaper - a proper 12-part series this time, with another 12-part 'companion' series. I'm not sure how likely it is, seeing how series 2 was treated, and much as I'd love them to do a proper series of Renaissance to accompany a third series of MW, I think the chances are very close to zero.
