Same here. Given the insane hype surrounding it i was shocked by how terrible it was as I was watching it.

Read any number of the threads on here. I don't have any particularly unique take on it. The reasons this is a garbage film are well established.

for me I loved the first half but once Silva showed up it went downhill. He was a cartoony villain that I thought they got away from.

I've watched it and I'm surprised Shane Black didn't like this really solid Bond film. I love (most) of Black's writing, so I'm surprised he didn't enjoy this.
