The story is cute...and deserved better acting! The characters are adorably flawed, each wife playing it up delightfully...too bad they are just supporting roles. The two main characters, Henry Lefay (Allen) and his daughter Barbie (Cuthbert)fail to commit to their roles, and their lines come off as flat and unrealistic. Props to your writing, Mr. Gould, but the directing needs some beefing up.

I thought Andie McDowell's performance was quite "flat". But Elisha Cuthbert did a great job! She is the cutest thing! I thought the rest of the movie was pretty bad, although there was a couple nice songs in the soundtrack

Not a great movie, but what kept the script together was Cuthbert, Allen, Jenna Elfman and Jenna Dewan Tatum from my point of view.

Ignorance is only a bliss if you haven't reached awareness.
My imdb posts are getting altered.
