Guitar Question

I just got Rock Band today and I have a question about the guitar. I'm not a fan of the guitar controller that came with my bundle (I just hate the way it feels), so I decided to take my Guitar Hero World Tour controller and try that instead. It worked when I plugged it in, but when I tried to play a song with it, this message came up and it said something like "No microphone has been detected". I'm extremely confused on why it would say that, and if anyone could tell me how to fix it I would appreciate it.

hmm..not sure on that...but you should get the X-Plorer if you have a 360 and use it. I love using it for ROck Band especially. If you have a PS3 then I dont know, shell out some more money and buy a Les Paul or a SG?

Yeah I don't have a 360, just a PS3. Thanks for the help though, I'll try to see what I can do. I tried plugging both guitars in at the same time but it still wouldn't work.
