help with the Fender plz!

Im having trouble hooking the Rock Band 3 Wireless Fender Mustang PRO-Guitar Controller for Xbox 360. It is synching with the green light and everything but when i get to the game menu- it asks if i want to visit the place where they have the videos and tutorial for pro mode, but i cant select anything or use the colored buttons or anything. Am i doing something wrong?? :(
