Who would you like to play a female Shep in a film?

Most of the threads I see about casting Mass Effect seem to assume that Shep should be played by a male actor.

I would prefer to see a female actor play that part because I play most of the time with the female avatar Shep.

Who would make a good female Shep?

She can have any colour hair or skin and the body type isn't so important as the whole point to the armor is to give the user enhanced strength (which is also why a female Shep is just as plausible as a male one). Age can also be varied.

I can never settle on one female actor who I would like to see so I thought it would be cool to see what other people thought.

I'm thinking along the lines of 1999 Ashley Judd. Shes got a mean side to her so can pull off a determined badass but shes also likeable too. Great actress, of course. And she kinda looks like my shep

The only way I can see a Mass Effect movie(s) done with any justice would be to create an animated/cgi style; kind of like how they've done those HALO movies. (How come Master Chief gets all the press anyhow?) That way, they could actually do a movie with the games' voice cast. Though of course they would have to recast Zaeed if they did that...

Any live action version of this; unless it was given a budget equal to a Star Wars prequel or Avatar, would look like some cheesy sci-fi thing with cardboard sets like Atlantic Rim or one of the Starship Trooper sequels.

I remember the days when Kardashians were just the bad guys on Star Trek!
