I don't get this bit...

I was replaying this the other day & got to the Virmire mission part where you talk to Sovereign... and the bit with Joker got me scratching my head.

Joker says that Sovereign is moving in our direction, having pulled a fancy turn or something and is on its' way.

Yet: Where did it/he/they come from, since it couldn't have been around before we went to the planet could it? Or else it would have been like that first collector attack, with the Normandy blown to bits. And aside from that; how come it never turned up? You take at least fifteen minutes crossing the base to where the Normandy meets up with you & still no sign. Even Saren takes his time to get there. And how he manages to get away from that blast I don't know either...

I remember the days when Kardashians were just the bad guys on Star Trek!

Yeah that part doesn't really make sense but there are worse things in that mission.

You send Kaidan/Ashley with the salarians and if you help them, Kirrahee and his team are seen alive aboard the Normandy. Now if you decide to save the member that stayed with the bomb, the other member that went with the Salarians dies but somehow the Salarians are able to survive.
