Is there any way to stop glitches that are ruining my game?

This game is wildly glitchy and it's gotten to the point I'm close to giving up on my main file (which has around 80 or so hours put into it at least), which I don't want to do, because I wanted to completely exhaust my character and the side-quests (he's a good character) before I start over and play as a "bad character."

The two worst glitches for me are:

-I was a member of the Regulators and at random, one day when I fast-traveled to the Regulator HQ, the characters inside were all gone, and in their place was a Death Claw standing on top of a table in the main room. (Whenever you walk in, it's like glitched inside of the table, before popping up) Somehow the game replaced all the Regulators with a Death Claw. (Sometimes there is one or two Regulators walking around, but never the main one who collects fingers... which is irratating because I've collected well over 200 fingers.)

-The Ferryman is also completely gone, and nowhere to be found, so traveling to Point Lookout (I think that's what it's called) is no longer an option.

-And the game freezes. A lot. Like I've had to reset my PS3 up to 15x a day when I play it.

Any way to solve these? I'd love it if the ferryman and Regulators would be able to reappear.

And FURTHERMORE, this is my signature! SERIOUSLY! Did you think I was still talking about my point?
