Is there any point in even releasing this after Machete Maidens?

Mark Hartley's documentary Machete Maidens Unleashed, about the wild movie industry of the Philippines during the 1970's and early 80's, includes a decent section devoted to Weng Weng that says pretty much all there is to say. I just don't think I need to watch a full-length movie about one dude's SEARCH for a dead, exploited midget when there really isn't all that much of a story to tell. Considering how many years this Search For Weng Weng doc has been yapped about by the argumentative, profane, pedantic malcontents over at the AV Maniacs forums, I seriously doubt it'll ever see the light of day now that Hartley's made given the diminutive star his second fifteen minutes of fame.

So, what's the story with 'The Search for Weng Weng'? Did it never get released? It's listed on IMDB as a 2007 film. Do you know where it might be available?
