This is going to be similar to the back to the future movies expect without The DeLorean Time Machine vehicle from the back to the future movies though.

Maybe, but I thnk I might like this, when I really didn't like Back To The Future.

*MINOR SPOILERS*

Also remember they used a pet to be the first time traveler, just like they used Einstein (the dog in all 3 BTTF movies) to be the first time traveler. Also the pet's name was Albert Felinstein (sp? right?) so coincidence much? I think not. Also when Einstein came back the car was really cold, and when Charlie's cat came back, it came back looking like it just came out of a freezer. So they did steal some BTTF things from there. Also both the cat and the dog traveled back in time about a minute or so. They both also had watches around their necks (again "Borrowed" from BTTF).

When your making a time travel movie, who else to copy ideas from then the innovators of Time Travel Movie. Makes sense that they used ideas from BTTF.

They even mention "Back to the future" (as a movie) at some point in the movie.

Yea, their club is called "The Back To The Future Fan Club'...and at the end there's the big 50's themed dance, just like in the first BTTF when he goes back to the 50's. And I know people are gonna be like 'They totally ripped off BTTF' but I really think theyre just paying homage and using things like that as inside jokes.

i didn't know they had a back to the future fan club and i agree with you on the 50's themed dance it was like the first BTTF movie when they go back to the 50's but i don't think they ripped off the first BTTF movie dude.

Vice Principal Tolkan is named for actor James Tolkan who played the similarly bald and bow-tied principal in Back to the Future (1985)
