couldn't help but think of the farmer recently who took his life because he didn't want the outrageous hospital bills of his terminal illness. these people are choosing a controlled suicide with a support system. i'm not sure i could be as supportive but for them to make peace with the decision you'd want to see them off by being present. i just wonder if people with mental deficiencies would also choose an early departure.
