i was watching another cinderella story the other night and was kinda shocked to see this:

i know disney is up front with sexuall ambiguities.

Probably because it's not a kids kovie, it's more of a teen movie.
I'm surprised they're airing it on Disney Channel tonight.
Oh and it's not a Disney movie, it was released by Warner Bros. Disney Channel is only airing it because Selena Gomez is in it and her DCOM's premieres tomorrow.

Actually I am not surprised at all. They interject adult things in kids shows all the time. Has anyone seen the new "cartoon" Glen Martin DDS, talk about adult themes.
Oh and SPONGEBOB this morning was awesome. I have seen every episode a hundred times (I have 5 kids...) and the one that was on was when SB failed his driving school test again. He tell Miss Puff "See You Next Tuesday Miss Puff!" Now None of my kids caught it of course, but I picked it up right away. And before anyone says i am reading too much into it...nah I don't think so.
They could have said "See you tomorrow, or Back to Class on monday, Miss Puff.
Just my two cents...

Glen Martin DDS plays during Nick @ Nite, so it's not at all a kids show. But I do agree that some adult "things" are added into family shows.
shareEveryone thinks that Disney Channel is only for kids, but honestly it's not. Of course Playhouse Disney is aimed toward a younger audience, but Disney Channel is a family channel. Same as Nickelodeon, there is a time of day where it's for kids, family and adults.
shareI'm sorry...but anyone who's seen Disney movies over the past 50 years, knows that there are 'adult jokes' in every movie, even down to the lion king, and aladdin. These are jokes that young kids aren't going to get. And by the time they understand the joke, they're mature enough to handle it. What's the big deal?
