VERY WEAK...omg ( SPOILERS big time)

The first 10 min was ok but baaaaby after that....it went off in left field, than I could barely keep my eyes open. I had to eat to stay awake. The red head actress, Lindy Booth, is very pretty but unfortunately her acting wasn't powerful or intense enough to carry the film alone. Lawrence Dane, the priest, was on top of his game. The acting by others in this film was even worst than the storyline, and James Thomas who played opposite of Lindy, was so drastic that he made it difficult to take the film serious. As for the story-line...well I only write 'user comments' for films I super duper like, but this film was so weak, I feel it's my duty to save others from wasting their time as I would hope they'd do for us. The biggest plot hole was in the main plot. Like the actor's roles in the film, we were suppose to feel sorry for a ghost who was innocent of what he stood accused of when he was murdered..."yet" they seem to have forgotten one part in the script. He became a serial killing ghost, lol. And than the priest never explained why he just stood there & watched an innocent man(the killer ghost) get murdered and kept it a secret...who ever wrote that script seemed to have gotten tangled up in his own web of plots "or" didnt put much effort in it

wasn't that bad.

Oh, yes it was.

Everything Bronze Keilani says is true, but it was entertaining enough. And the scenery was pretty.

It was okay for a watch it once type of movie but yeah HUGE plot holes. Like for instance if the ghost was so powerful that it appeared he could tear people to shreds (as in the case of the traumatic events that start off the movie) why then when the door was re-opened he basically just breathed real heavy and waited. I half expected when the main characters finally entered the back room / closet in the basement that something - ANYTHING - would happen but nothing.

If the script were expanded on and maybe the reasoning for keeping the murder a secret were better detailed it could be workable but I don't see a remake of this one any time soon.

This movie was just plain BAD. Not a thriller, not a chiller, nothing. And the acting all over was bad as well. Especially the priest at the end when he was crawling into the back room. I'm also sick of the "we have to give him/her a "proper" burial! That will end this!" because writers these days NEVER end it there, and you know it. So after they buried him, I knew they needed to burn the lighthouse.

Oh, and what kind of annoyed me was when they were all down in the basement and discovered the bodies and had their noses and mouths covered so they could breathe. Really? It's been what, over ten/twenty years (sorry, I came in toward the latter half of the movie, so I don't know exactly how long the bodies were there, but it was more than just a few days/weeks, obviously)? Which means all the flesh has rotted away, which means there should be no smell aside from MAYBE a musty odor of how mold/mildew smells; but nothing that requires people to cover their nose/mouth!

But then, this is a Lifetime movie, so I guess I should not have expected anything much.

Some of it was laughable, and I did laugh, so I suppose I received some entertainment from this otherwise not worth someone's time movie.
