Scott Baio is 46... and Trying to Fool His Audience

Don't get me wrong. I love this show. I've watched every episode. However, I can't help feeling at times that Baio and company think they're pulling a fast one on the audience. How stupid do they think we are? Baio doesn't really live in that house (it's been well documented). Baio's step-daughter didn't really spring the info that she was going to be living with him for the first time at the "wedding" (it was clearly staged for dramatic effect). Baio's on-screen "wedding" was a complete fake... I mean, just look at the guests that were in attendance.

I'm sure the audience would still be there episode after episode if they owned up to what most of us know already... mainly, "Scott Baio is 46 and Trying to Fool His Audience".

I agree with everything you said. However, do you have a link that says that Scott Baio doesn't live in the house in the show? I am just curious...because how could he afford it when it seems that all he does is play golf and hang out with his middle age crew.

Why is is so important that this show is "real" to everyone? It's still entertaining.
