There's not something else they can take?

Marijuana is the only option?

Call me cynical, but all I've ever seen marijuana accomplish (via my roommates, who smoked every day) is make them stay at home all day and forget to go to work and play video games all day.

They were both college students and neither of them went to more than half of their classes. They're both flunked out now, if that helps.

did it ever cross your mind that they might have done that even if they never touched csnabis
beside they were not trying to get it legalized for lazy spoiled college kids
there trying to get it legalized for medical reasons
did it make any diffrence to your roomates that it was illegal no they would have used wether it was illegal or not
when they were getting high did you just feel like ratting them out to the cops
it sounds like your roomates were just hurting themshelves would you have rather seen them in jail getting @ss raped in jail they could have gotten there learnings
but there would be no chance of them ever getting a good paying job due to there criminal records

Cannabis production is cheap and the drug is very effective. Isn't that good enough? So why go for another option?

Fantastic quote, I may use that in the future if you don't mind, exactly one can choose to be lazy and do nothing, and blame it on the herb or one can be a fully functional member of society and still use herb, it's a silly notion that herb is to blame for many people's laziness, blame the person not the plant.
