The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was nowhere near as bad as everyone said it is. What is wrong with you people, I mean sure you can't survive a nuke in a fridge, but you also can't survive going over a cliff in a tank or jumping a plane in rubber a raft. I had been watching the Indy movies since I was 9, I was 14 when I went to see KotCS and I left NOT repeat NOT disappointed watching it now, I like it just as much as when I first saw it. The only problem I had with the alien was that it was CGI. This however was junk, first-class junk, if you put this miniseries to music it would go like this "Rip off, this is a rip off, this is a rip off, are you kidding.". The acting was horrible, the characters and storyline couldn't have been more stock, hell they even copied the Indiana Jones Font. I quote Roger Ebert "I Hated this movie. Hated, Hated, Hated, Hated, Hated this movie. Hated it. Hated every simpering, stupid, vacant, Insulting moment of it.".

This Jack Hunter series is pure GOLD so it is. It did everything that The Crystal Skull should have done but failed to do. The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is was and will always be a big steaming pule of manure!. I don't think even Biff Tannen would have liked The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because he has stated many a time "Manure! I HATE MANURE!" and that movie IS manure.

I never watched that clip in the link you put in the post. But you say this series rips off Indiana Jones that is obvious as I could even see the resemblance in some moments. Like the market fight scene (similar to the one when Indy is searching for his pal when she's hiding in the basket) and how Jack Hunter dresses similar to Indy. But there are so many shows and movies ripping each other off that there's no such thing as originality anymore it would seem. This series is a lower budget version of Indy but it's just as fun to watch at the first three Indy movies. Indy should have remained as a three movie series. Even the lovely and amazing Cate Blanchett couldn't save Indy 4.

I think the problem with Indy 4 was everyone expected too much from it, I mean sure it's nowhere near as good as Raiders or Crusade, they're classics. Overall the movie was OKAY it wasn't masterpiece, I'd give it between a 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 stars out of 4 (4 been Shawshank Redemption, 0 been Garbage Pail Kids). I just wish people would just accept that it was great to see Indy on the big screen again after 20 years. And also I read something that said originally George made a deal with Paramount for five movies he just stopped at #3 because he couldn't think of a story he liked, plus in the 90's a lot of people kept asking "When are you going to make the next one?". My main problem would be, I am not a Shia LaBeouf fan and wish they got someone else to play his son.

I think the movie tried too hard to be as good as previous entries. It failed. It also used too much CGI and had those really *beep* dumb gophers popping up every now and then which is a face punching offence for including them in the movie. And yes that Transformers clown was miscast so he was. They waited far too long in bringing the series back. They really did wait too long.

"Heard the cry of the seven whistlers. Lucifer smiles looks on and waits."

WHO THE HELL EXPECTED IT TO BE AS GOOD AS THE PREVIOUS ENTRIES???? Of course it wasn't as good I'd give it around a 6 or 7/10, Everyone forgets what the Indiana Jones films were, they were just 1940s and 50s adventure serials and B-Movies done with a big-budget and modern techniques like the Army Ants were a reference to a 50s Charlton Heston movie 'The Naked Jungle', the alien was clearly based on movies like 'Invasion of the Saucer Men', and the flying saucer was the one from the original 'The Day the Earth Stood Still'. Jack Hunter I would give -10/10, Jack Hunter was *beep* enough said.

IMDB allows votes between 1 and 10.
This film deserves about minus 3.
It is absolutely dreadful.
How could anyone even make anything this bad?

This was one of the best buys I've had all year so far. I truly enjoyed this series immensly. I felt a little sad when it ended as I was having a heck of a time viewing it. Jack Hunter Trilogy was well worth the cash I spent on it £7 in Asda I paid for the three movies in one box. Value for money that purchase was.

The scenery and the music all added to the overall quality of the three movies. I got the same feeling when watching these three Jack Hunter movies as I do when watching the two National Treasure movies. And that feeling is one of happiness and excitement and they are easy to get into. Jack Hunter and his sidekick Tariq are a force to be reconned with lmfao!. Jack with her serious vibe and Tariq with his goofy antics make for pleasant viewing indeed.

Jack Hunter and the Lost Treasure of Ugarit.
Jack Hunter: The Quest for Akhenaten's Tomb.
Jack Hunter and the Star of Heaven.

All three of these movies get 9/10 minimum.
