Tariq is awesome
What a great character for comedic relief.

He is really annoying.
Just like Jar Jar Binks with his big ears, annoying voice and stupid character.

Tariq is indeed awesome. He is my favourite character in the Jack Hunter series. A couple of lines from Tariq in the second movie had me laughing.
When he was firing at the bad guys Jack told him to. Jack was like "cover that door and shoot anyone that comes through it" and Tariq was like "but what about THAT DOOR!" pointing to the one to his right side lol. It took me a second or two to catch onto the joke as I just then realised there were two doors to the room and not just the one I thought there was.
And when Tariq started firing at the door the bad guys were at the other side of. He shouted "say hello to my little friend" and sprayed the door with lead. Then while continuing his decorating the door with holes he shouted at the bad guys "die, you sons of vultures" lol
Tariq is indeed the comic relief for the movies. And he fits in well as Jack's sidekick. I am so glad they chose Mario Bassil as Tariq and not anyone else.
"What we gotta do is we gotta snag that tall dude and stomp the sh!t out of him!."
I laughed when they are in the entry to the tomb and it's a "deadend" until Tariq hits his shoe on the hidden lever. The look on the bad guys face when he thanks him.
