This is one damn pretty beeped up anime

I don't know how to start. I am not into romance but this anime had more than romance. It was about how relationships can be screwed up at its worst. Although it was only 12 episodes long, it makes you feel like losing your mind becuase the main character is so characterless you want to break every bone in him. Actually the whole series is like a long nightmare.

I have rated the series 7/10, it was a decent anime, had an interesting plot and variety of characters. As for cons, it repeats itself many times, some characters are underdeveloped especially the main character. Is full of cliches, especially the ending.

I recommend this anime to casanovas out there to see how involvement with multiple ladies may end up. I know that the series is not that realistic but the effort is remarkable.

Btw, I really felt for Sekai, she has no fault at all this and we don't know if she was delusional and really had a baby. I would rather trust Sekai than Katsura. I started to hate Katsura after she started to insist that she and Makoto were going out while he was already screwing other girls. She looks like innocent but her delusional mind and obsession is a complete turnoff. Makoto was holding the strings throughout the whole story but he was so irresponsible and stupid he ruined the whole thing. Anyways, I can not blame Makoto or the bitches, they are the main source of this intriguing piece.

Additionally, I think these event are more likely to happen in japan due to their extraordinary culture. First of all the kids are overly distant from their parents. Secondy, they do take dating too seriously. For example they confess to each other, which I think is extremely stupid. They go and say all of a sudded, "anu, anu, anu, I love you." WTF? Then the other one instantly accepts it and after that day both brag about their new mates around their stupid friends. And there are no ethics regarding sex in Japan. Having no Taboo about sex is not a bad thing but it should not be a toy for children. Those love hotels, and japanese...

Yea it was insane. Makoto was just young mid out of puberty. Who wouldn't go for all these chicks if they were throwing themselves at you?You don't think about the consequences at that age.Plus Katsura didn't put out.

I don't know about the culture of sex in Japan but it seems more open. But they definitely go a little too far.The age of consent is like 13 and some of the anime comes too close to child porn.

The anime was pretty crazy. I liked it even though Makoto was a jerk. He reminded me of a few relationships that I was in, so I felt for Katsura. Poor thing.

Believe it or not these things happen in real life. Some people actually do kill others over love and some guys (and girls) do sleep with anything that moves. Maybe not in a school setting (all that much), but every where else. Not all people are as stupid as some of the characters are, but there are some people out there that make Makoto look like an angel.

I wish the anime was a little bit longer, but it was good despite being only 12 episodes long. I also wish some of the characters had more personalities and certain characters learn to stay out of personal relationships that have nothing to do with them. *cough*Setsuna*cough*

The games are actually more screwed up than the anime. Least from what I have seen.

I would have loved to see the anime keep the manga ending or one of the multiple endings from the games. It would have been interesting to see since it would have been changed here and there in the anime. I have noticed that they mixed things from the bad endings in the games to create the anime ending.

You couldn't have said it better. But, in Japan this stuff is very realistic, you'd be amazed at how yandere those chicks really are. In the end though Makoto got exactly what he deserved. If you're going to play that many women at once, make sure none of them are insane.
