Habit (1995) + Martin (1976)...

I haven't seen Midnight Son, but based on its trailer and description, it sounds/looks similar to two other low-budget vampire movies that I've seen: Habit (1995) and Martin (1976).

Yeah, those are fair comparisons. And it's a decent film.

A couple of excellent other movies with some similar themes: Thirst (2009), and Trouble Every Day (2001).
