Is this another B!TCH movie?

I use to love vampires, now I am scared to even watch them anymore because they might twinkle or fart rainbows! So with that said, is this just another B!CH Flick -PreTeen vampire movie? From the poster, I'm saying YES!

Short answer, no.

Longer answer - no, it's not a rip throats out, blood spattered gorefest but it's not a teen romance either. There is a romance but it's more adult and more brutal. The movie has a slower pace then most horrors and it's good if you're in a philosophical state of mind or contemplative mood. But if you're looking for non-stop action you'll want to find something else. That said I loved it and plan to buy it when it comes out in a couple weeks. I don't buy a lot of movies, usually DL or watch online, it has to be something I think I'll watch again and again for me to spend the money on it. This one I think is worth it.

'Then' and 'than' are completely different words and have completely different meanings.

And, this is IMDb.com -- not Grammar.com

And communicating on IMDb involves using words, so ...

And do you think that anyone here doesn't understand what a poster truly means when s/he erroneously writes 'then' instead of 'than' or 'than' instead of 'then'?

No breakdown of communication occurs because of that kind of error, nor is writing on these boards comparable to writing formal papers.

I honestly don't understand why someone would take the trouble to sign on to IMDB message boards (main purpose of which is to discuss cinema and related topics) in order to engage in nitpicking of benign grammatical errors.

The then and than thing is like a plague at the moment. There's half a generation that doesn't understand the difference.

It's worth trying to reverse the tide a little.

I'm a guy and I loved it. It has some really dark acting in it. I hate the Twilight series btw.

I'd say yes and no. No, as its not a typical teen flick with pretty boys and soft-focus and so on, but yes in the sense that you'll never see a vampire who's more of a complete pussy about the whole thing. I'm no action junkie by any means but with half the film gone I was longing for some 30 Days of Night-type carnage. Or just a bit of honest to goodness Bela Lugosi-Christopher Lee vamping. Him being a vampire and all that

Clearly, you didn't get the plot, that's why you were expecting for a butchery,
I can't blame you about wanting to watch a vampire doing its traditional stuff,
that's the first thing we all want about vampire films, there are other great angles
which can be taken, though and that was the case of Midnight Son, anyway,
looks like you didn't pay attention, because the vampirism happens through the whole film.

Now, you really should notice that your comment is misleading.
first of all, it sounds like this was a teen movie, which isn't,
second, he can't just act like a psychopath from the first second,
because, he was a normal guy, discovering what was happening to him,
that's the plot device, how he's changing his normal existence
to his new reality, which was being a vampire.
