I can't really see for sure, but several times, I see no studs in their tires? :-) Wouldn't it help if they had proper winter tires? When its slippery on the ice, the studs would most certanly keep them in the right direction, not so much on snow though, but since there's been some points of very slippery roads, studs? :-D
shareMy guess is they dont use studs because a lot of their driving is done on cleared, paved highways where stud use is illegal, especially on such heavy vehicles. Unlike chains you cant take studs on and off when ever you need to.
