Cant stand him. Seems to be one of the better drivers but I cant stand his arrogance.
shareThe problem is in that kind of business arrogance equals motivation. I would bet mellow guys such as Alex are few and it is the case that faith gives Alex the nerve to drive those roads which seem routine because we watch veterans of the business. We never see anything serious happen but I know I would not want to drive those roads and I live in a part of the US (lower 48) that sees snow every winter.
shareFunny enough i think Darrell is one of the better one's. Yes he may come across as arrogant but at least he gets the job done and wants to get on with it. Not like Todd whos always bitching like a little girl over something or nothing, or Art who's always making a cock up on every trip.
He seems to have more of an issue this year with less experienced drivers - I get the impression he's probably better suited to "lone wolf" driving than being in a convoy - he seems to take everything as a challenge to his driving "seniority".
I'd like to see how he would work in a convoy with Alex, since he's been driving trucks since Darrell was a kid.
