Can't help but to root for Lisa

She's 5ft and change, maybe 110lbs, and she's driving trucks and loaders in the
Arctic. In S08E02, when the customer had nobody to drive their loader, and Art was standing around looking stupid, Lisa climbs into a loader and gets the job done.

Good for her. I hope she goes far this season.

You do understand this is scripted, right?

I mean, who schedules a delivery and doesn't have their operator there to unload? Their operator probably did all the work except for the stuff they showed Lisa doing.

reply

Seriously? It happens all the time - you'd learn to expect that when dealing with contractors. The one constant factor is their unreliability.

Lisa did the work, get over it - it's not like she had to learn from scratch, she stated she'd worked similar vehicles before but was out of practice (hence the dropped bundle).

Everything in this show is scripted.Including any work actually done by the cast members. They only do the little bit that you see.they don't do the entire job as they would in real life. There are others behind the scenes setting these things up. Including all of those so called "accidents" are rigged. This show is 100% staged. I don't care if Lisa,or anyone else, were legit truck drivers beforehand. They all sold themselves out for a chance to be tv stars.

reply

Nope. It's not.

The footage is edited strategically in order to make certain events loom larger but that's the case with every reality show.

They discard about 99% of the stuff they film and present only those snippets they want the audience to see. A good editor can make a quaint family dinner look like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Get real.

YOU get real.Everything in this show is staged for dramatic purposes.Everyone in this show is acting. The feuds are fake. The way the trucking operations work on this show is a joke. And that so called "dash for the cash" is nothing but a ridiculous bogus premise for this show.

That's true. But that still doesn't mean that any of the scenes are real, bonofide sequences. This show, like every other so called "reality show",is scripted and staged as much as any REAL drama. The only difference between the two is that scripted dramas are based on actual real life situations and these so called "reality"" shows have no shred of reality in them. They are only produced for those, like you, that would rather be entertained by others willing to shame themselves on tv for a small amount of money.

Well said Renegade... but regretfully, I think you just got a spot on mishill's "Ignore List" ... but don't lose any sleep over it.. she/he will still continue to snipe at you, from the sidelines with cheap shots...
