Where's Alex

He hasn't been in the last couple of episodes. I know his truck caught fire but it seems like as desperate as Polar is to get the loads out, Polar would give him another truck and put him back on the road.

In reality he's too good for this show. The producers probably cringe everytime he talks about religion and says prayers.

Alex has been my fave since day one.

He's a professional and just a nice guy and he doesn't provide them with the drama they want.

I did find this on driverhealth.org which explains some of his previous absence -
Alex is human, though, and he had to withdraw from the series last season due to heart arrhythmia and pulmonary embolisms. It took determination and months of recovery for Alex to get back on his feet, and he took time out of his busy schedule to talk candidly with Driver HEALTH about his illness, his dramatic hospitalization and his journey toward wellness.

Thank you for posting that. I didn't realize he had such serious health issues.

That's one of the worst things about being a trucker. Being stuck sitting for hours upon hours is a fast way to get Pulmonary Embolisms from clots that form in the legs when you remain sitting for a long time.

Drivers need to constnatly get out and "stretch" to keep that at bay, even in their cabs they should practice on moving their legs (since your legs do not naturally pump blood up, it relies on you walking/moving).
