To comment on what you really meant everyone doesn't agree with abortion so just because some think it wasn't good timing for her doesn't mean she has to get an abortion or act sad about being pregnant.

I actually wasn't insinuating abortion as I do not beleive in abortion. I was referring to the commentary about her pregnancy. They kind of just glossed over it and never once - as a show - address the many issues surrounding her pregnancy. She had only recently gotten a job and she was talking about moving out of her boyfriend's mother's house. She does not have a college degree. All of these things should have been brought up on the show through the discussions of cast members or atleast her mother, Seiko and her boyfriend. When I said that someone should talk to her I meant it should have been put into the show. Like when Justin spoke to Gerren about getting into fights with LorRena.

Thats what I liked about Sal and Staci - he would have said something to her atleast...like when he got into it with her about not doing anything or being diligent about looking for a job. And they had that argument. And also how they talked about how she was carrying on at the party with Gavin in Season 1, and how he felt about it. He always made some good points and I liked how the two of them talked about relevant things. I thought he was good for her as far as keeping her focused. Now he is gone (sigh) I miss him. LOL

Its also like how they are having this discussion about Tyler and Moriah. They had Tyler's mom sit down and have a discussion telling Tyler that it is wrong and Gerren's mom talked to Gerren and agreed that Tyler was wrong. No one had that kind of a discussion with Stacy or even ABOUT Stacy to say what she did was a bad move.....granted many of the other people may not have known cause she didn't tell them but atleast Seiko knew. Yes she is grown in theory but not really. She is not THAT grown to not have someone pull her aside and talk to her about staying focused on trying to better herself.

Also, we don't know if she was using protection. Protection is not 100 percent effective.

Its very interesting that you say this because family planning ads will have you believe that they are...which is why some people promote abstinence. But people say "Oh they are not going to abstain so lets preach condoms/contraceptives and then we come right back to the fact that these things do not always work and so you have a bunch of young mothers raising babies." But like I said she looked like she planned it because she expected Kevin to jump for joy it seemed, when she told him. And she seemed so happy about too, as opposed to "I'm having a baby - what am I going to do?"
