Seiko was being mean..

She was really giving Kenny a hard time when they went double dating with Justin and Aisha. She was just so mean to him. Why was she acting like that. The girl had a serious attitude. I'm sure Kenny has probably lost interest in her, lol. It could be that maybe she was feeling a bit jealous of Justin going out with another girl. Who knows. I thought Justin liked Seiko anyways.

i think seiko still have feelings for justin 2 her deiscon to not date him last season was probaly influenced by her father

reply

I don't think she likes Justin. But I'm hoping we missed something cause she had major attitude. I can understand being upset due to her hair getting wet cause it probably took her a long time to straighten it out lol but after he said it was an accident she should have calmed down. He was kinda childish for kicking sand on her lol

reply

I thought she blew it out of proportion too - I had to rewind it on Blast to see what happened. It was really not a big deal what they showed but I think we missed something in the filmed version cause even Asia was saying it was scary. However Kenny did not handle it any better...really immature talking about black women and their tracks (irrelevant) - like thats Seiko's real hair aint it.

"They told you you were stupid, ugly and doomed to fail............and you believed them"

I agree, there probably were scenes that were cut out, b/c at first I thought that Seiko and Kenny were playing around, then the next thing I knew, Seiko was coming out of the paddle and was irate. I like Seiko and I couldn't understand why she was so upset, but then Kenny wasn't making anything better by acting childish.

reply

I think she was really mad at him for wetting her hair. From what we saw it looked like an accident but I'm hoping we missed a scene where he purposefully wet her cause she was ridiculous. Yeah that's Seiko's hair.

reply

What?! She spent time straightening her hair to look cute for her date, I think she had a right to be upset, now maybe she could have forgiven him soon after but she did have a right to get upset.

reply

i know seiko she is a very nice person that is her real hair

reply

Why would Seiko got on a date kayaking if she didn't want to get wet?

I totaly agree she over exaggerated and I felt bad for keny he just seems so worried and confused!

I felt bad for Kenny at first too but Kenny appears to be a jerk.

That A'shia (sp?) girl played Cassie on Lincoln Heights. I just noticed that the other day.

That's not "Cassie"

Cassie's character is played by Erica Hubbard (http://www.ericahubbard.com/

I, too, felt Seiko overdid it. I had to think this through because Kenny's comment about "$300 tracks" was deliberately insulting, and I had to wonder why he would be so rude. My conclusion was that Seiko wasn't the only one who put serious effort into the date, and her overreaction probably embarrassed Kenny. What a ridiculous reason for two young people to come apart - wet hair. She would be beautiful no matter what her hair looked like. She could have told Kenny, nicely and in private, to be more careful because she worked hard to look nice for their date.

A good example would be a scene from the movie "The Notebook". In it, the two lovebirds' nice canoe trip ends with sudden, torrential rainfall. Her carefully coiffed hair now soaking wet and clinging to her face, her mascara running, what does she do? She laughs.

As a black woman, I know the importance of our hair being dry. Still, if your life is so fragile that you can't handle a simple unexpected turn, what kind of fun can you be for other people? The most attractive women take such things in stride.

EDITED TO ADD: Still, Kenny didn't have to be so rude.
