If you watched the show and feel this way, read this

To me, the show is 100% scripted. I was so into it when it first came out, I was like, "Alright, some suburban black kids, money, and making moves." But it all just seemed kind weird after a while. Heres why:

1). They know everyone's business, even if they don't know/like each other that much. How does the entire cast know everyone's business and why are they always in it? C'mon now, keep it funky. I don't know half my friends business unless they tell me and vise versa. For instance, I understand Justin plays the 'mediator' all the time. If you don't know what that is, it means he plays the civil one, the one who breaks up all the arguments, the fights, etc. always seems to be just the peace maker. Like when Gerren and her friend Taylor or Tyler, got into it and here comes Mr.Justin to the rescue. Even after something went down with Gerren and someone else, maybe her friend, IDK, and Justin said, "So lets talk about when you and such-and-such got into it" Dude, I know you're their friends and all, but mind your own damn business.
Also, Moriah's mom is ALWAYS in his business. I understand they're very close, so are my mother and I, but not to where shes going to meet every girl I bring over (I'm a lesbian btw, so don't think otherwise). Moriah is what, 16-17? and STILL has to introduce his friends? Tyler/Taylor was just his friend when she met his mom, and she sat there grilling the girl, asking questions as if they were going to get married in two days. I didn't understand that.
Then she came outside and interrupted their date that he had planned for her and she was like "Moriah, why did you put the table under the basketball court?" Um, LOOK lady, they're having a DATE for Christ sakes. Its not like they had their date in the middle of a damn basketball game, leave them alone.

2). The moms again. Why are all the moms always in their sons/daughters business? Don't you have some bills to pay or something? Everytime the show comes on, Moriah's getting questioned by his mom about girls. Gerren's talking to her mom about Moriah and how Tyler/Taylor took him from her and they're not cool. It gets on my nerves.

3). Whenever something just happened, they go to a scene with the friends or the kids and their parent, talking about what JUST happened...HOW THE FXCK DID THEY FIND OUT SO QUICK AND IT JUST HAPPENED?? Once again, its all scripted!

4). How do you get baptized and move in with some dude you hardly know, then kiss him and make the announcement at a party? I understand if Seiko was getting married, but she was like, "Yeah, I'm moving in with Cal and I wanna know what y'all think about it, good or bad, I'll take it." Are you THAT dumb?
I understand you wanna start a new life and start it off RIGHT, but you can't just start off like that, that was very tacky. You couldn't wait to go back home and tell everyone that? Its Justins birthday party, have some decency. Friends or not. I just thought she was tacky for that.

5). Its a sign of respect, but don't bring just ANYONE home to meet your parents. If you're not trying to get serious, don't even bother introducing them to mom and dad. Justin for instance. He dropped ol' girl like a bad habit the min. he started feeling for Seiko, how does that look?? You bring some dude home because you heard he was cool, y'all kissed, got some what close for the hell of it, met your aunt because she wanted to see what he was about, she approved, but where is the clown now? Falling for Seiko who found someone else and isn't even thinking of you. WOW! How does that feel? SMFH. If I brought someone home like that and two weeks later my mom asks, "Wheres such-and-such?" 'Oh, she left me for some girl she was feeling, but its okay, I'll bring by Courtney tomorrow so she can meet you and I can make an ass out of myself again."

6). Okay, I realized they tried to make Baldwin Hills look like The O.C. or some sh!t, check this out. Those kids from the O.C. get Range Rovers, Bentley's, BMW's, Mercedes, etc. How the hell do these Baldwin Hills kids even think they're competition for that? When I first saw the show, I was hyped, I thought I would see some of Diddy's kids or something, I see some random ass people driving Toyota Camry's and Honda Civics.lmao. wtf? Some of the houses are nice, I just really expected better from this show.

She would make me coooool, and then we would both ruuuuule, forevaaaaaa.

Your topic subject doesn't make sense.

I agree with some of your points, the reason things don't make add up, is because it's all set up for them.

I think the relationships are real and some of the background stories, but everything is staged for tv--it might have happened in real life to some degree and then they re-stage it for television.

It's entertainment loosely based on real life, not much more than that.
