It's kind of sad they had to dig up some random comment by some random person on IMDB...
South Park isn't even particularly renowned for being "offensive and raunchy" anymore - The first two seasons or so, yeah - But then the show sort of evolved.
It's more known for trying to have a "message" or for it's social commentary these days.
Yeah, I'm guessing no one in the press gave it particularly positive reviews. Even the Times quote was just a description and left out the author's opinion of the show. Not trying to crash on your parade TS, its cool that you got quoted. It just seems a little desperate.
As for the actual show, it occasionally makes me chuckle. The humor is as moronic as it gets, but I do enjoy that style occasionally, so I sometimes watch an episode or two. I don't see how it could ever be considered half as good as South Park though, even the early SPs or the recent mediocre ones...

Uh yeah. If you mean that absolutely no one who works on Code Monkeys has EVER worked with Southpark, then yeah, that'd be accurate.
Yes, they did create Minoriteam which airs on adult swim, but that's about it. There are no Southpark/Code Monkeys collaborators.
