A French 'To Sir, With Love'?

I wonder if this film is similar at all to the Sidney Poitier film 'To Sir, With Love"? It sounds awfully familiar, but yet again, the whole inspirational teacher movie is cliche ridden to begin with. That's what "Hamlet 2" poked fun at.

Er, no. Go see it. Nothing to do with Hollywood clichés like the one you mention, or crap like "Dead Poets Society" or "Dangerous Minds".
