How will Republicans rate this flick?

Probably with a LOW rating! Thoughts?

Neocons and dyed in the wool Bushies won't have an open enough mind to appreciate the reality of the reasons given for going into Iraq and the effects from it. Perhaps there are some republicans who can appreciate the film for what it is, but very few of them will chose to see it in the movie theater.

Ditto.

I don't usually rate films according to my political viewpoints.

I'm Repbulican, I hate how people pigeon hole a Political party! Even more, I hate that there are only two major parties to claim to represent over 290 million people. Only two parties disscused anyway.
Yes I'm Republican but not the Neo-Republicans of today. I am of the traditional Repbulican party. True Repbulican beleifs don't embody any of the agressive tactics we see today.
Republicanism claims to beleive in a Republic not a Democracy, Democracy can be a very dangerous thing! We see the dangers today as in this movie (BOW) Where our Democracy has thrown us into a politically charged war.
Republican Vs. Democrats is not the true battle, but Elitists Vs. Masses is the battle we are loosing. I don't want to stray too much but, bottom line is we have to stop the little battle the media puts us in R vs. D distractions. Claiming a party is just how the game is played today. We must infiltrate the system and break it down like a virus, and return our country to a true Republic. Where the 51% can't decide for the 49%, but where local communities take back all the power! Any way...Power to the People. Thanks

A fellow Patriot

I agree with your sentiments. The problem is the Republican Party has been taken control by the more extremist neo-cons who don't follow alot of the basic issues which real conservatives value. The most obvious one is that the government must be fiscally conservative, which has been the opposite of what Republicans have done since 1980. By running up a huge deficit and national debit, they hope to basically bankrupt vital social programs like Social Security, Medicare, Welfare, etc. The USA is now approaching a defict of $10 trillion. The debit is the main reason why our dollar has depreciated 50% of it's value against the Euro since 2001.

Like you I also hate the left vs right mentality. Often times the correct solution is somewhere in the middle, but the current political climate wishes to divide up the country as red vs. blue, as if we are the enemies of each other. Even though we are a country with varied opinions, we have so much more that unites us than divides us. Democracy is supposed to be by the peopel and for the people, but we have allowed our country to become run by corporations instead of the citizens. We need to take our government back from the big oil companies, insurance companies, pharamceutical companies, and foreign interests. We can all begin by actually taking the time to learn who the candidates running are, where they stand on issues that are important to us, and then voting for our best interests. Voting is our best guaranty for a better future. So please don't think just party affiliation. Think and vote for the person who will make things better for you.

most of them will dismiss it as left wing America bashing propaganda...not realizing that taking care of injured troops is not a liberal or a conservative issue but an American issue
