Yes, very much so. But uh, the series isn't over yet, seeing as they are going to make a third season. The ending of the second hinted heavily at the Dice Killing Chapter being in it.

aaaaaaaaaaoooooooooooooooohh..

i just look at wiki for that info. your right, but thats the ending to the games though. so are they now going to base it off from the side games...

I really liked the end of the series, the end when Takano is a child it seems her parents have the bus accident but they survive?

reply

I think both Takano and her parents survive... which I guess means in that reality nothing bad happens later on as Takano never meets her adoptive grand father and thus doesn't carry on his work.

I'm only going to say this once: stay out of Camberwick Green - Sam Tyler

reply

Exactly. This scene didn't complete the circle, but prevented it from happening.

I can understand they had to make the sequel a little less brutal and gorish after the incident(can't remember the name though). But still, for me, the ending was a bit of a disappointment. I haven't played any of the games, so I don't know if I'm criticizing the games or the anime, but I think the ending was way too reasonable. I wouldn't have minded if they hadn't included the supernatural elements that made the 1st season gold, but they just had to explain everything...

Still, one of the greatest stories ever told needed an ending, and this was a good one by any grading system. It really explained why the story was told in the given format and bound it all together.

Plus, HanyĆ» is just too cute ^^

I loved the end of the second season. Raises so many more things to consider both in regards to the rules of the labyrinth and what that future will hold.

I thought most of the middle was mediocre in comparison to the first season. Entertaining yes, but I prefer having to think a little to figure out what's going on. I don't mind the level of explanation here, it was just too linear.

I didn't care for how detailed an explanation was given at the start... there was enough information there to figure that out for one's self, and it's a lot more fun that way; they even point out that's where the fun is in one of the episodes in the first season. Maybe I wouldn't have minded that as a recap if I'd watched with a significant gap between the seasons instead of watching both in a 3 day span though.

Oh... and I hated the change in the preview format. Not that it was terrible, I bothered to watch it unlike a real preview, but it just took away more of the atmosphere.

I didn't liked the ending that much. To me it was about living after that dreadful moment, I kept this thought in my head throughout the whole second season so I was expecting more.

Although it's an excellent series I would love to see more. Or at least some OVA's about their life after the incident cause to me the beginning of the season where Rena was still believed the whole Aliens thing didn't make much sense and should have been left out.

All I need to know is who was talking to Takano at the end as the grown up.. was that HanyĆ» or Rika?
