Could have been a LOT better

I checked out the first two episodes on Netflix (Dirty Dancing, Home Alone). I thought the behind-the-scenes information was interesting, much of which I didn't know, but the presentation was awful. It plays like some tabloid show, constantly jumping around, speculating, and then finally getting to the actual story. The narrator is extremely annoying - he sounds like one of those infomercial guys. The music was pretty bad, too. Two more episodes are available, Ghostbusters and Die Hard.
Content: 8/10
Presentation: 1/10

Yeah, you pretty much hit it on the head. I've only seen the "Die Hard" one but I was disappointed in how they threw it together like TMZ or some gossipy reality show spectacle.
But it did have some interesting tidbits and some of the interviews with writers etc was interesting .

I would've appreciated a better host that appreciated the source material too and less skipping around as if they were aimed at the lowest attention spans on the planet.

Thank you! Glad I'm not the only one who thought this way.

can't agree, i thought it was pretty entertaining and different than ordinary making-ofs. i have seen 'dirty dancing' for the first time after the show and was like "well, actually the show was more entertaining than the movie itself".

I'm annoyed that they only have four episodes. What's up with that? Even "The Toys that Made Us" had more than that at the start!

I hate how these kinda stuff is put together. Like, they get random assortment of people and keep cutting away to each one of them with their own anecdotes & exaggerated reactions

I honestly find it mostly annoying.
