Very odd casting, Selena Gomez looks much too young to be involved in a film like this and the other lead actresses look like they're they are nearly double her age. I honestly cringed watching the trailer and seeing Selena kiss the obviously older gentleman, she looks like a 10th grader. No offense to anyone involved, its just an extremely odd casting choice.

I just saw the poster on IMDb's front page and, knowing absolutely nothing about the movie or Katie Cassidy, I thought it was supposed to be two sisters and their mom. Ouch!

Selena's baby face is a double-edged sword.
It's great she can play young(er) parts for as long as it lasts, but it's a liability when she wants to play someone her age, or slightly older.
It is a classic case of youth & vitality vs. experience & credibility. People generally assume someone who looks young doesn't have much life experience, so they won't take them seriously. Conversely older looking is equated with being unappealing to young audiences who Hollywood covets now more than ever. It's a Catch-22, no matter how you slice it.

And I think Selena is the least "known" of the actors. Her show is on cable whereas Leighton, Katie and Cory are on (or were on) hit shows on major (free) networks. What is Selena known for, besides dating Justin Bieber?
shareSelena is definitely the best known from all of the cast. She has a hit Disney Show, a hit music career, a soon to be hit movie career, has a clothing line, her own production company, does charity work. She is definitely the "money maker" in this movie.
Even as a fan of Selena, I got to say that Selena is not the best known of this film, Leighton Meesher(however her name is spelled) is one of the most known out of all of them. She stars in a hit tv show "Gossip Girl" and has a growing movie career(The Roommate, Date Night, Country Strong, Going the Distance, etc.) and Cory, even though he isn't a lead in the movie, is also one of the most known because he's on the smash hit show "Glee".

Totally agree about the age thing... Selena looks like a young teen while the other girls look their age, mid 20's. When I first saw it, it looked like two best friends who had a little sister tagging along for the ride :P
