Soooo boring!!

I have no idea why this got so many stars....painfully slow, dull movie. Made it to the end because I kept thinking it was going to get better...but never did.

He's a solid actor, but most of his recent films are crap (like his politics).

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'm not here to argue but what made it that boring? The movie was only an hour and a half... Just curious because I enjoyed it.

Just watched it and I found it pretty boring. I normally like these indie films but this just never felt like it got of the ground

I seriously tried to like it but nothing really happened. This movie is like a really bad version of Ghost World.

i have to agree. i watched it because i liked emma roberts in "it's kind of a funny story" and of course because of john cusack. the plot seemed to have some ptential, the trailer made it look worthwhile and even some supporting characters were quite good.

but in the end it was just boring and sometimes painful to watch emma's less than great performance and a script that just didn't live up to my expectations.

Yeah, Cusack complains her writing sucks because she doesn't have any pain, but neither did this movie really. It would have been better if they made her this super-optimistic character, like Elle in LEGALLY BLOND. At least that could have been funny.

Yeah...the writing was Bad and ruined a potentially good story. Dumbing-down Emma's character for cheap laughs didn't help,and saying she was "crazy" when she was just ignorant and lost didnt help the story either. The only likable characters worked at the porn shop.I watched this movie because it was highly rated.There should be two IMDB's,one for over twenty one and one for under so that the Adults wont get fooled into watching this kind of crap.

I enjoyed the movie but wish they dove more into Cusack's character. I love when he plays brooding types....

I thought Emma's acting was silly when she tried to act upset and smashed his guitar. That outburst just seemed rather fake. Overall I enjoyed it though.
