Will this appeal to the 14 year olds in Utah?

Something tells me this isn't going to be a very popular discussion board on IMDB!!!

All we can hope for is that we get a few lefty Ben Elton types banging on about 'FATCHER' or something.

Anyway, I thought it was quite a good little play, with a sterling performance by the lead and a reminder of just how difficult it was for a woman to become an MP in the old days (and purely on merit, not on any all-woman shortlist nonsense).

Some good little jokes too, eg the one about Mark Thatcher going to Africa...

Yeah, bloody good I thought. Andrea Riseborough's performance as the iron lady was amazing and Rory Kinnear found a lot of pathos as Dennis.

It showed just how far we've come, as regards sexual politics in this country, having had a female prime minister that served for 11 years. Ironically, it doesn't seem to have helped female emancipation very much at all. Business, politics, banking and the law are still areas in which women are discriminated against.

But then Thatcher didn't care for equal rights and wasn't a feminist. There's an interesting conversation there.

But I think you're right, those hardened Arkansas kids won't make much of this...

"NOT NOW, CATO...swine."

It was disturbing to see Maggie as a sexy MILF... but those Mormon kids may not get that vibe in the same way as a child of 70s UK.
