Boring and pointless, don't waste you're time.

What a pile of *beep* I can't believe someone wasted $250K on this crap.

For almost 30 years, I have said Altered States was the worst movie ever made. This movie knocked AS down to the number two slot. The movie is really only about 40 minutes long, but with repitition, gratuitous sex scenes and boring campfire chat, they managed to extend it to normal movie length. Some movies are stunning in their crappiness. This is the most amazing so far, for me.

reply

I got to say Texxasrose I have to agree with you. This was by far the WORST movie I have ever seen in my life. Even the sex scenes could not save it and there was hardly any gore??

reply

I bought this trash a couple years back, and got rid of it after I watched it. A first for me. I didn't spend much on it, but it was shocking just how horrendous it was.

reply

Didn't buy it, I believe I either rented it or saw it online, it was bad but i've seen far worse films like Dark Heaven.

reply

You've been telling me for years now how bad Dark Heaven is . I still haven't seen it, and I'm probably going to continue avoiding it. Sounds horrible.

reply

That's a wise choice, BTW I forget if i've asked you this before, but what's the all-time worst movie you've ever seen. Aside from DH, the worst film i've ever seen would probably be Funny Games.

reply

Funny because I also hate Funny Games, and I've always thought I was one of the few who thought it was a horrible movie. It wouldn't make my worst list though.
June Cabin has to rank down there in the bottom 5 for me. I'd maybe even say it could make my bottom 3. It was just an impossible film to like even somewhat. There was this ultra low budget film Skyggen which was also atrocious. However its budget was next to nothing, and I'd probably give it a pass as the all time worst. Beyond the Wall of Sleep has to also rank down there as one of my least favorite films of all time. Nothing good there.

reply

I kinda liked Beyond The Wall Of Sleep.

Another film that would go on my "worst" is that 1985 film Scream AKA The Outing, by far the worst slasher film i've ever seen to date, terrible acting, lame deaths, zero suspense and an ending that dosen't make a goddamn lick of sense, the April Fools Day remake is also pretty wretched.

reply

I disagree about Scream somewhat. It is slightly slow, but I thought it was watchable. I can't defend it if you thought it was dull though. It kind've was.
April Fool's Day was an awful and boring mess.

reply

The most memorable thing about Scream was that really stupid scene where a guy got killed by being thrown through a wooden door, that and the blatant product placement for Dr. Pepper.

Axe Em was also pretty terrible, but at least that movie was unintentionally hilarious in some parts for how bad it was, Scream was just a boring mess that nearly put me to sleep several times.

reply

I expected the worst from Scream, and it's probably why I didn't hate it nearly as much as so many others. I found it passable with a decent atmosphere and somewhat spooky setting.

reply

I guess I hated it more because I was actually expecting it to be decent at least, i'd seen other slasher that were generally hated and enjoyed them, so I assumed that would be the case with that film as well, boy was I wrong.

Even the director himself admitted that he had no clue what the ending meant.

reply

Actually, These posts and the reviews make me want to see it...
