One of the best versions of a Christmas carol to date

I agree. This version is beautifully animated and very exciting. I've seen every version of A Christmas Carol ever made, and while not disliking any of them, this one goes to the top of the list as the best version.

shareI can't remember any other version of a Christmas Carol, except ( very vaguely ) the Disney one, so I can't compare , but this film is one of my favourite Christmas classic, at least it is a "classic" for me, I think it deserves a solid 8 and here it's only rated 6.8
However I agree with one of the previous posters when she/he says it's not very emotional, I too get always moved by the book, which I have read several times, not so watching this film, but I don't think an animated movie could deliver what the book delivers, a movie, maybe, an animated version, no.

Watching it now.....it's an excellent ghost story.
