2.put an end to or cause the failure or defeat of (something).

3.overwhelm (someone) with an emotion.

NOT SO GOOD WITH WORDS?...SOME OF THEM MEAN MORE THAN ONE THING OR CAN BE USED DIFFERENTLY...THAT REALLY KILLS ME.🙂

reply

AGREED

reply

Halloween H20 still the worst title

reply

are you kidding me? that's a an awesome title. its' so fresh and new. and it's fitting bc it's 20 years later.

reply

In 1998 when it came out lots of people were making fun of the title

reply

Yeah I genuinely thought it was going to be Michael Myers takes a cruise, like Jason Takes Manhattan with that stupid title!

reply

forget the title this will just be more feminists nonsense like the previous one.

reply

Who hurt you?

reply

Like most of the others as well?

reply

How was the last film feminist?

reply

Tearing down men to prop up women by making all the male characters incompetent or a-holes and the female characters strong & independent with little to no character flaws (arguably Laurie is an exception due to her psychological issues, but her paranoia ultimately pays off at the end when all the female characters lay waste to Michael). It’s a run-of-the-mill example of modern Hollywood forcing a feminist agenda into an established franchise.

reply

As a man, I didn't feel that way at all. Not only that, but the horror genre is no stranger to strong female characters, so I don't know why it's an issue here.

reply

Aren't slashers inherently feminist? It's almost always a woman who kills (or temporarily stops) the killer. That's true going back to Black Christmas and Friday the 13th.

reply

Better than just calling it Halloween 2 imo.
