Jamie Lee Curtis will top Sylvester Stallone

As of now both have played characters in each of the past 5 decades. With Halloween Kills being released in 2020, Curtis will have played Laurie Strode in 6 decades (70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s, 20s). Kinda hoping Stallone at least cameos if there's another Creed movie to match her.

That’s pretty awesome, heard the Stallion wants to do another Balboa though so not sure how long Jamie will have the record.

I for one hope he doesn’t... though it’s almost a guarantee he’ll be back as Rocky in a future movie. I mean if he’s still around then, I bet he’ll be playing Rocky in his mid to late 80’s (uh... yay). Lol.

But Jamie Lee rules. She’s always killed it as Laurie and I’m stoked to see her in the next installment. I’d be more than okay with her holding that record.

not '80s.

reply

Who? Curtis? Halloween 2 came out in 1981.

reply

really? damn. i think it's sad she's made a halloween movie every single decade she's been in movies. i think it's pathetic. i mean not all of them are good movies, ressurection wasn't a good movie. i mean it was a b movie in a bad way. a reality horror show? that's never going to make a good movie as the plot.

reply

To be fair to JLC, she was contracted to do a sequel to H20, so it's not like she saw the script and wanted in. She's bad-mouthed what happened to Laurie plenty of times.

reply

she was contractually obligated to be in that shit movie? i mean, seriously anyone who has watched halloween resurrection knows it's a forgettable movie.

reply

Hmm, if you divorce it from the other Halloween films it's a fairly well produced slasher pic.

reply

How is it sad? I mean there’s a 17 year gap between 2 and H20 and a 16 year gap between Ressurrection and the remake.

reply

Strode in this one has to be in a mental hospital herself right?
