Christian
Whatever happened to being a Christian? I don't belong to any denomination or sect. I was born into Russian Orthodox, but I met God when i was 18, on my own, late at night in my room. I don't want to call myself a Born again or anything. I just call myself a CHristian, period. All this segregation and breaking down of the faith is terrible for the Christian body.
I do not want to insult anyone's faith but JW seems like a very strict sect. Not that that's necessarily bad, ofcourse. I long for the day that a human being can just call himself a Christian again.
As for my thoughts on this film? I saw parts of it today on Sundance. It doesn't seem to be trying to insult anyone; it seemed somewhat realistic. I'm sure there are people who have gone through almost the same thing. The problem is this: Any time that filmmakers want to make a film about Christian people, it always seem to come out negative and insulting.
F@#$% Commmunism!
