Its not often i say this but the photography in this film i think is dreadful.

I didn't see it but a lot of these BBC shows have ridiculous grading, and you can't blame the colourist for that, you have to blame the producers and directors as I often doubt the DPs are happy with the look of their material when its broadcast.

The photography is fine. It's the hideous score which is rendering parts of the series almost unwatchable.

Some bits of the score I like, some bits are a massive error of judgement... The theme that plays over the opening credits sets you up for comedy, which considering how dark a lot of the story is is a bit of a cheat.
